Product stewardship is an environmental management strategy that means whoever designs, produces, sells, or uses a product takes responsibility for minimizing the product’s environmental impact throughout all stages of the products’ life cycle, including end of life management (http://productstewardship.net).

i2a Members are actively engaged into complying with environmental and health legislation (cf. Regulations & Compliance section) while at the same time anticipating, defining and implementing best practice needs for the sector (cf. Safe Use & Stewardship section).
