Antimony Workplace Exposure Monitoring - 06 June 2018
Metals Conference Center - Rue du Duc 100 - 1150 Brussels - Belgium

No data = worst-case assumptions!
Product stewardship starts with hard data, clear evidence!

Measured workplace exposure data is key to replace the overestimations of exposure assumed by authorities who are assessing the risk related to substances like Antimony ones.
This was one of the key conclusions of the 2017 Antimony Day, and i2a is committed to tackle this information gap.
i2a is working to produce a validated reference workplace air exposure sampling and quantification method for antimony substances.

The technical workshop will cover the basics of workplace monitoring in the context of workplace and chemicals legislation, inspiring case-studies shared by experienced company representatives, and the presentation and practical training of the antimony workplace exposure sampling and quantification method.

The broad implementation of the method across producing and using sites will then enable the launch of a harmonized workplace air exposure data generation and collection campaign. This will respond to authorities’ calls for evidence, and continue to inspire product stewardship along the antimony value chain.

Join us to become an active contributor to the data generation and collection exercise that will replace worst-case assumptions on workplace exposure!
